✨ A Journey Through Japan: Insights from the Inside Out

After a transformative solo journey through Japan, I am glad to share my reflections.

This trip touched me personally, creatively, and spiritually. Japan offered more than I expected, and I’m still integrating it.

I had a full schedule as I was learning new techniques form Japanese artists, but also made time to be present. I breathed in the quiet beauty of Japanese life, listened, and received.

My senses opened, and my inner voice guided me to the right people, moments, and magic. I made friends, stretched beyond my comfort zone, and realized more about my capabilities.

A big realisation landed within me:

🌟 The signs and guidance are always there. We just have to slow down to hear them. 🌟

Sometimes the “scariest” path is the most aligned one. Off-the-beaten-path detours brought breathtaking nature, profound connections, and unforgettable experiences.

And then there’s the wisdom of the Japanese way of creating life:

💫 A reverence for slowness.

🌸 A love for nature and community.

🧓 A beautiful relationship with aging and lifelong learning.

🎨 A seamless weaving of tradition and modernity.

🌊 A deep patience that’s taught from childhood and infused into everything—from tea ceremonies to train rides to art itself.

This way of life resonated so deeply with my own creative path. Meeting artists there reminded me: wherever we are in the world, we creators share a common language of challenge, curiosity, and joy.

So now, I return home with a full heart and an expanded spirit, ready for my next journey.

You don't have to go far away to find deep realizations, to connect with your inner voice or challenge yourself. It is in our every days when we can stop and be in stillness that we find the magic, the connection and our inner voice.

See how my new artseries "Phenomena of the Heart" reflects back to this inner connection.
