 New chance, new hope to make something good for a noble aim. Dodo Newman with the approval of the French Red Cross got the possibility to re-auction the artworks that have not been payed for during Red Cross France auction for the Reconstruction of Haiti in May 2010. (See video) During the auction there was a chance to bid for artworks. These artworks were bided by prominent players of business, such as the patron of the event Sheikh Abdallah Shamsaldeen Al-Fassi, Sophie Tuffnell or Kenneth Johnson. It is sad to declare that the payment for the artworks they bided did not arrive yet To Red Cross France, after more than 100 days and after official payment notices. It is sad to declare that the official Organizer of the event, Mr. Christian Pouligo, in spite of his promises to Red Cross France has still not forwarded the donation already received. Dodo Newman offered entirely the total 100% income of the auction to Red Cross France, for the cause of the reconstruction of Haiti. Dodo Newman has still hope that the funds will arrive for the cause and the re-auction will be successful. "I am deeply sorry for the Haitian people and I am really surprised that such small amounts never arrived for this aim. 2-3.000 Euro for multimillionaires or company representants are not high amounts, and we should not forget the original purpose of the event. The Haitian people counted and still count on every cent. And sometimes even one day of late payment counts on many lives. I still hope that these people will make the donation later in spite of their promises, but we need to move forward because there are people who count with these funds.
